Biography

Chapter I

Iponah got its birth during the cold and dark autumn in 2005 by a man called Chrimera, also known as Lucifer and Belzepub. The first songs were done during the dark nights of that same autumn.

Iponah is all about depression, disgust and hate. All this as well as his hatred towards Christianity has affected the music considerably.

Iponah began as a one man band in all the possible ways. Everything from the music and lyrics to recording, mixing and publishing was made by Chrimera. He also began the webmaster and creator of The official Iponah website.

The Iponah style of music is for sure unrepresented and underground - it sounds different in all the CD:s. This style of music should be called TRUE PRIMITIVE BLACK METAL.

Everything published under the name of Iponah or its founder Chrimera is copyrighted and protected by law and all the infernal powers. Any kind of misusement is prohibited and shall lead into eternal damnation.

Chapter II

After the first two demos - "Bandaging Wounds Circa" and "The Philosophy of the Brotherhood of Arsonists" - Chrimera concentrated on learning the secrets of actually playing guitar and bass. This led to recordings of "Obsessed", which represented the new way of Iponah - led by guitars, bass and vocals.

A couple of years after "Obsessed" Chrimera had come up with some new material. Having learnt to play drums for a good time all the new songs would lack drum-machine. This new shit will ofcourse be yet again something new, as Chrimera's aspect for life and music has changed. For good or bad, it's not Chrim's decision but yours.
